Lumber production by sawmills in November 2013 decreased 9.3% from October 2013 to 4,874.4 thousand cubic metres, Statistics Canada reports.

Compared with November 2012, lumber production decreased 0.5%.

Sawmills shipped 4,585.0 thousand cubic metres of lumber in November, down 8.6% from October.
