Cascades opens the doors to its Kingsey Falls units

On the occasion of Cascades’ 50th anniversary, all of the company’s Kingsey Falls units will open their doors to the general public for a special open house event on August 23 and 24. The public is invited to come and discover what goes into manufacturing Cascades products. Visitors will have the chance to tour the Cascades plants and units, and learn more about the basics of recycling, and the production of paper, paperboard, plastic.

In addition, visitors can enjoy a variety of free activities in Kingsey Falls. The exhibitions “Support papier” from the Collection Loto-Québec, and “Dans l’univers de Cascades,” by Escalier jaune, are running until September 1. The Generations exhibition by Boréalis is also on display and open.

Founded in 1964, Cascades produces, converts and markets packaging and tissue products that are composed mainly of recycled fibres.
