Four people were sent to hospital with minor injuries after a three-alarm fire at a corrugated paper plant in west-end Toronto, according to The Canadian Press. The news service reports that the blaze at the Norampac facility began mid-morning on Aug. 8, in a corrugating machine. It then spread to the ductwork.

According to the news report, four workers who tried to put the fire out suffered smoke inhalation and were hospitalized as a precaution. Damage is estimated at $500,000.
