Murray Hewitt, general manager of the Greenpac board mill, received the Mill Manager award from RISI at the 2016 PPI Awards. This award is sponsored by Valmet.
The Greenpac mill in New York is owned by Cascades and several partners.
RISI, an information provider for the global forest products industry, selected the winners of the 2016 PPI Awards. The PPI Awards honor leadership, vision, innovation and strategic accomplishments within the pulp and paper industry, and are the only global awards dedicated to recognizing the achievements of companies, mills and individuals in the sector.
The winners were announced at the awards dinner on November 21st in Brussels, Belgium at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel.
