PaperCon celebrating 10 years in 2017

TAPPI’s annual conference and exhibition PaperCon is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2017. Scheduled for April 23-26 in Minneapolis, the 2017 conference will focus on the latest trends and technologies relating to papermaking, papermaking additives, process control, fluid fundamentals, and recycled paperboard technologies. It will also cover coating and graphic arts with an emphasis on paper packaging and board.

Designed by industry professionals, PaperCon draws CEOs, mill managers, superintendents, scientists, process engineers and suppliers from more than 25 different countries for a comprehensive conference that includes a peer-reviewed technical program, multiple networking opportunities, special events and exhibits.

PaperCon 2017’s theme is “Renew, Rethink, Redefine the Future.”

Currently, the PaperCon planning committee is accepting abstracts for PaperCon’s Papermaking Program and the Recycled Paperboard Technical Association (RTPA) Production-Technical Seminar. The deadline for abstracts is Nov. 11, 2016.
