PAPTAC forms kraft pulping group

An alkaline pulping group for kraft pulp mills has been formed within the framework of PAPTAC, a Canadian pulp and paper association.

According to PAPTAC, the Alkaline Pulping Community is resuming activities in response to the growing demand from mill members.

Doug Barbour of Harmac Pacific will be chair of the new group.

Mill tours, problem-solving roundtables, webinars and technical meetings will be part of the community’s yearly agenda.
