International Paper has wrapped up the sale of 13 of its lumber mills to West Fraser Timber.

For $325 million,West Fraser has taken ownership of lumber mills in Citronelle, Maplesville and Opelika, AL, Leola, AK, McDavid and Whitehouse, FL, Augusta and Folkston, GA, Armour and Seaboard, NC, Newberry, SC and New Boston and Henderson, TX.

The facilities provide employment to roughly 2, 200 people and have a combined production capacity of approximately 1.8 billion board feet.
