UBC Pulp and Paper Centre celebrates 30 years

April 6, 2016  By Cindy Macdonald

The Pulp and Paper Centre at University of British Columbia is planning a celebration. The centre will host an open house event and an alumni dinner to mark its 30th anniversary.

The open house on May 28 will celebrate the achievements of the Centre and its people. It is hoped the event will give alumni the opportunity to reconnect and network with their peers, faculty members, and today’s talented students, and also give students the opportunity to meet PPC alumni and industry professionals in a fun and informal setting.

There is no cost to attend the open house and all registered participants will receive a light lunch.

The Centre will also be organizing an alumni dinner the night before the open house, on May 27, at a cost of $100 per person.

Event organizers are also seeking old photos related to the Pulp and Paper Centre. They suggest scanning the photos or simply taking a photo of the photo with your smartphone.
