In an attempt to better serve pulp, paper, and medium density fibreboard mills in Europe, Andritz has teamed up with Rheinhold & Mahla AG. The duo has signed an agreement to form a joint venture company to provide industrial maintenance services and long-term maintenance concepts for the industry.
EMS, The European Mill Service will offer long-term maintenance and service contracts contingent upon Key Performance indicators considered vital to each customer’s facility. Factors to be ruminated are production, availability, safety and efficiency. EMS will provide services for all mill areas and will arrogate responsibility for maintenance management for a production area within a mill, or a complete mill.
Despite the decision to coalesce their areas of expertise, both Andritz and Rheinhold & Mahla will continue to offer their respective products and services on an independent basis.
