AstenJohnson and Heimbach will proceed with the construction of a joint manufacturing plant in China for paper machine clothing.
Construction plans are being finalized in the Shanghai area. Initially, AstenJohnson and Heimbach will manufacture dryer fabrics but will expand into forming and press fabrics as the market dictates. Production will begin in approximately 18 months.
