QUESNEL RIVER, BC — Quesnel River Pulp received and returned an Honourable Mention award in the Safest Mill in Canada Contest for 2001, sponsored by Pulp & Paper Canada “in good conscience,” because of an incident that occurred in August 2001 and resulted in surgery in February 2002. Mill manager Brian Black expresses his gratitude and assures PPC that his company “will continue to set safety as our number one goal in the mill.”
