BillerudKorsnäs develops paper alternative for e-commerce bags

Packaging solutions provider BillerudKorsnäs has introduced a new paper quality for e-commerce bags as a substitute for single-use plastic.

The new product, Xpression E-Com, is part of the Xpression product family. Xpression E-Com is a kraft paper range suitable for consumer carrier bags with durability and high printability. The new product works in existing converting machines for e-commerce bags.

The material is renewable, recyclable and biodegradable with a low carbon footprint. Xpression E-Com is available in white, which offers branding possibilities, or brown, for those wanting a natural-looking package.

Xpression E-Com is the result of a collaboration between BillerudKorsnäs and the packaging machine producer JB Machines.
