Boise Cascade Corporation has released its 2003 annual Environmental, Safety and Community Report. The document features results of the company’s performance in sustainable forestry and manufacturing, protecting air and water quality, recycling as well as safety performance, contribution and volunteer programs.
Results of the report can be obtained on the company’s website. However, vice president of public policy and environment Guy Hurlbutt said, “the performance of Boise’s people in managing environmental and safety issues continues to set a standard for our industries. And the company’s volunteer programs are a testament to the commitment our employees have made to help make the communities where we operate better places to live and work.”
