J.M. Voith AG and Sulzer AG have agreed that Sulzer will reduce its participating interest in the joint venture in paper technology (Voith Sulzer Papiertechnik GmbH and Co. KG) from 40% to 10% effective mid-July 2000. This will allow the Sulzer Group to focus on its core business and to reduce its business participation in the joint venture in paper technology to a financial participation.
