Buckman consolidates Canadian and U.S. operations

Buckman North America is the new company under which the current Buckman Canada and Buckman United States organizations will be brought together. The move is intended to provide synergy to better serve Buckman’s customers.

Buckman North America is the new company under which the current Buckman Canada and Buckman United States organizations will be brought together. The move is intended to provide synergy to better serve Buckman’s customers.

The new entity begin operations immediately and will be based out of the Buckman global headquarters in Memphis. The specialty chemical supplier will also maintain operations at the current Buckman Canada location in Vaudreuil-Dorion, a suburb of Montreal.

Jim Doan, will serve as president of Buckman North America, and Pete Tchouros will be general manager operations.

“When fully operational, this new Buckman North America structure will give Buckman associates in Canada and the United States increased access to technical knowledge, encourage sharing of best practices and enhance abilities to serve our customers” said Doan.

Doan points out that the transformation to Buckman North America will be seamless from a customer perspective, with no business interruption.

The creation of Buckman North America follows similar organizational changes made around the world as a part of the OneBuckman global business model that is focused on maximizing efficiency, synergy and customer responsiveness. Buckman is a privately held, global specialty chemical company.
