Canfor announces changes to its senior leadership team

Canfor Corporation has announced significant changes to its senior leadership team.

Alan Nicholl is moving into the position of managing director at Licella Holdings, Canfor’s joint venture partner in Arbios Biotech (Arbios) effective April 2022. A part of the company for 14 years, Nicholl currently holds the position of executive vice-president of bio-based solutions and pulp operations at Canfor. He will continue to serve as the president and CEO of Arbios.

David Calabrigo, senior vice-president of corporate development, legal affairs and corporate secretary, has assumed responsibility for leading the bio-innovation team. Calabrigo’s appointment is aligned with the company’s plans to continue pursuing opportunities to develop bio-based solutions to address the growing demand for low carbon, renewable products.

Kevin Anderson, vice-president of operations at Canfor Pulp is now reporting directly to Don Kayne, CEO of Canfor Pulp.
