Canfor reorganizes pulp leadership; Brett Robinson departs company

Mar. 5, 2018 – Canfor Pulp Products Inc. announced today that, due to an organizational change, Canfor Pulp president Brett Robinson will be leaving the company effective today. The president responsibilities for Canfor Pulp will be consolidated under Don Kayne, CEO of Canfor Pulp and Canfor Corporation.

Robinson became president of Canfor Pulp in 2012, previously serving as executive vice president of Pulp Operations.

“Over his more than 25 years with Canfor, Brett has been an excellent contributor and leader in our organization. He leaves a strong legacy and team, and we thank him for his many contributions,” Kayne said.

Canfor Pulp Products is a global supplier of pulp and paper products with operations in the central interior of British Columbia, employing approximately 1,300 people throughout the organization. Canfor Pulp owns and operates three mills in Prince George, B.C., with a total capacity of 1.1 million tonnes of Premium Reinforcing Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft (NBSK) pulp and 140,000 tonnes of kraft paper, as well as one mill in Taylor, B.C., with an annual production capacity of 220,000 tonnes of Bleached Chemi-Thermo Mechanical Pulp (BCTMP).
