Canfor Corporation has entered an agreement that will see the sale of its Valemount sawmill and associated tenure to Northwest Specialty Lumber. Although the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, the deal is expected to close before the end of the month. Canfor will receive $3 million, plus the value of inventory for the sale.
