Catalyst Paper relaunches Rumford Offset uncoated freesheet paper

May 16, 2017 – Catalyst Paper has relaunched Rumford Offset, describing it as a “new and improved” uncoated freesheet paper produced at its Rumford mill in Maine.

Matt Stapleton, vice president, Printing & Writing and Publication Papers, says Rumford Offset is an “effective choice in an uncoated freesheet paper and represents a competitive alternative to other uncoated freesheet paper in the marketplace.”

Catalyst Paper says the Rumford Offset offers:

• enhanced 92 brightness, new and improved product performance
• ability to build full truck loads with coated inventory
• designed to work well in both heat-set and cold-set printing applications, and
• available certified chain-of-custody under FSC, SFI and PEFC.

Inventory of Rumford Offset is available immediately, says the paper manufacturer. Catalyst Paper manufactures diverse papers such as coated freesheet, coated one side (C1S), flexible and industrial packaging, food service, coated and uncoated groundwood, newsprint, directory, as well as market pulp.
