RISI has honoured Jouko Karvinen of Stora Enso, naming him European CEO of the Year for the pulp and paper industry. Karvinen was presented with accolades and an award at RISI’s 10th European Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference held in Lisbon, Portugal, April 7-9. As former CEO of Philips Medical Systems Division, Karvinen joined Stora Enso in January of last year and became CEO in March, 2007.
