The Integrated Pulp and Paper Centre (CIPP) is set to benefit from a $19.3 million boost. The centre, located on the campus of the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivires will be undergoing construction that will transform it into a French-language reference centre, catering to all of eastern Canada. It will bring together the equipment, resources and activities of UQTR’s Centre for Research in Pulp and Paper and Trois-Rivires College’s Specialized Pulp and Paper Centre. All the steps in the value-added manufacture of specialty papers and cardboards as a whole will be able to be reproduced there.
