THUNDER BAY, ON — The PAPTAC Midwest Branch Annual Conference and Trade Show will be held from September 20 to 22, 2000 at the Valhalla Inn, in Thunder Bay, ON. The annual conference, with the theme “Making the Right Moves” will build upon the highly successful formula used in the past four years to offer another diverse meeting focusing on technical and non-technical issues critical to the pulp and paper industry. This year’s conference will include two and a half days of sessions, a keynote address by Buzz Hargrove, CAW, a presidents’ panel, a market forum session, and an address by guest speaker Tim Millard, president, Ontario Forest Industries Association. Four short courses are also to be offered. Information about the program, registration and trade show can be obtained from Ajoy Chatterjee at chatterjeea@bowater.com.
