Revitalizing the pulp and paper sector will be the main theme on tap as industry players come together in Vancouver, British Columbia this May for the PricewaterhouseCoopers 22nd Annual Global Forest and Paper Industry Conference.

Taking place on May 14, the conference will provide CEOs and senior executives from forest and paper companies from around the world a forum to discuss the major issues affecting the industry today, including new revenue streams, environmental sustainability, and surviving the current economic downturn. The theme of the conference’s 2009 edition is “Re-energizing the forest and paper industry.”

The one-day conference will include perspectives from The American Forest & Paper Association, the British Columbia Lumber Trade Council and the Council of Forest Industries, as well as a number of panel discussions on topics such as economic outlook and financial performance, market outlook, and the CEO panel.
