PAPTAC tech community meetings coming up

Various technology communities of PAPTAC have set dates for their fall meetings.
The Papermaking Technology Community will hold its fall meeting at Innofibre in Trois-Rivieres, Que., on Sept. 3. The activity will feature technical presentations, a tour of the facility as well as a lunch and a group dinner. Presentations will also be offered as webinars for those unable to attend.
There is no charge for PAPTAC/PMTC members, mill personnel, and students. For other participants, the cost is $50.
The fall meeting of the Bleaching Committee will be held Sept. 21-23. It will be hosted by Harmac Pacific in Nanaimo, B.C. The technical session theme for this meeting is “Bleaching Stages: O2D / DO / Eop / D1, D2, P.”
The PAPTAC Paperboard Packaging Community will hold a face-to-face meeting and a mill tour of Norampac’s Cabano mill on September 23, 2015.
