February 11, 2019 – Corner Brook Pulp & Paper and its unionized workers have reached a new collective agreement.
The Western Star reports that Kruger, Inc., Corner Brook’s parent company, has confirmed the agreement but not provided further comment.
The five unions at the mill are represented by Unifor, which says the agreement covers a four-year period with wage increases of two per cent in the first two years and 2.5 per cent in the last two years of the deal.
