KSH Solutions has purchased the assets of Dick Engineering Inc. and formed a new company named KSH-DEI Solutions Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of KSH Solutions Inc. Both KSH and Dick Engineering are consulting and engineering firms with expertise in the pulp and paper sector.
The merger is expected to provide a broader range of services and capabilities to meet their clients’ needs.
KSH Solutions, formed more than 90 years ago, is privately-owned and operates worldwide from offices in Montreal and São Paulo. It has extensive experience in the forest products, power generation, utilities and environmental sectors. It offers a full range of services from strategic consulting to engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM). It also undertakes EPC projects where it delivers a complete project on a turn-key basis with performance and schedule guarantees.
Privately owned Dick Engineering operates in North and South America from its offices in Toronto and Sudbury. It has been in business for more than 38 years serving niche markets in the process industries, including: pulp and paper, specialty chemicals, food and beverage, and metals and mineral processing.
Both firms will now operate from a common technology platform that uses advanced tools to provide design, procurement and construction management services including the latest 3D plant design systems.
