Domtar has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for a sixth consecutive year. The index was instituted in 1999 to track the financial performance of leading sustainability-driven companies on a worldwide basis. The DJSI is made up of the leading 10% of the largest 2,500 companies in terms of corporate sustainability in each industry sector.
Raymond Royer, Domtar president and CEO is pleased with his company’s accomplishments and regards the inclusion in the index as a mark of achievement. "We are very proud to be commended. Our approach to sustainable growth is one of continuous improvement in all aspects of our business," he said.
