Businesses will have an opportunity to enjoy peace of mind the next time they purchase paper. Domtar is launching EarthChoice, a line of coated and uncoated papers certified to Forest Stewardship Council standards, and endorsed by the Rainforest Alliance.

There are 13 papers in the line, all of which can be used to print corporate identity packages, brochures and promotional materials, annual reports, business forms, and a host of other applications. Most of these papers also contain post-consumer waste content.

Although the move to infiltrate the market with more earth-friendly products isn’t a new, or a rare phenomenon, recognition from environmental groups is regarded as a mark of achievement. "We take great pride in the fact that our efforts in the marketplace are being welcomed today by environmental groups," said Domtar president and CEO Raymond Royer.
