For the ninth year in a row, Domtar is lending support to the Literacy Foundation in its campaign to raise awareness for the cause.

The company has committed aid to two of the foundation’s projects, Domtar’s Paper Christmas for Literacy and The Gift of Reading.

The first program ensures that annual paper supplies are distributed to 200 Quebec agencies working for adult literacy. The second provides new books for children up to the age of 12 who are living in disadvantaged situations. The program is designed to battle illiteracy and reduce school dropout rates.
