Electronic lockout system by Ontario machine builder simplifies machine safety
June 13, 2019 – Ionic Engineering, an Ontario-based machine building firm, has created an electronic lockout system that can be used in large-scale heavy industries including pulp and paper.

Photo: Annex Business Media The Safe Box uses components from Pilz Canada and a module-based system to increase efficiency during safe lockout procedures. Lockout modules (shown at left) are distributed throughout the plant and controlled by a central monitor (shown at right).
