Analyse nergtique d’une usine de pte kraft canadienne
Abstract: A study to reduce the steam consumption in a kraft pulp mill was conducted using simulation, process analysis, pinch method principles and optimization. Results showed that retrofit of the heat exchanger and water networks would result in a 15% energy reduction. Opportunities were identified in brown stock washing, the bleaching area, the pulp machines, the water heating system and tank management.
