DON MILLS, ON — Environmental Risk Information Service, or ERIS, has broadened its Canadian environmental report service to British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The service accesses current and historical federal, provincial and private-sector databases, which give information on whether a particular property is facing or has faced environmental problems. ERIS has been used by professionals in Ontario for over a year. “The expansion of ERIS means that site assessments, property evaluations and environmental audits no longer have to be exercised in bureaucratic frustration,” says a press release. “Now, consultants lenders, insurers and other stakeholders need only provide the address and/or coordinates of a property and ERIS delivers a complete report — with a map and detailed records — by courier or E-mail within seven business days.” For more information, visit its Web-site at: www.ecologeris.com.
