Eurocon Analyzer AB, the provider of online measuring equipment to the pulp and paper industry, including PulpEye, KappaEye and ScanChip, is changing its name to PulpEye AB. The company says the name change provides clarity and enhances its expansion into more markets.

“As our online measurement devices are strongly associated with our pulp analyzer PulpEye, the name change from Eurocon Analyzer to PulpEye is logical,” says Öjvind Sundvall, CEO of PulpEye AB.

The company will continue its cooperation agreement with Eurocon control equipment, but, “since there is no ownership connection between Eurocon and PulpEye, it will be easier for customers to know who does what,” Sundvall continues.

PulpEye is a measurement technology company, focusing on online applications and services for the pulp and paper industry. Its main products are the PulpEye pulp analyzer and the ScanChip chip analyzer. Based in Sweden, the company has sales offices in Ottawa and Vancouver.
