Pointe-Claire, QC — Feric, a division of FPInnovations, is announcing its association with PREFoRT, a research program on logging and transportation contractors. Feric will participate in research activities aimed at measuring contractor performance and developing training methods in an effort to contribute to revitalizing Quebec’s forest sector.

Many of PREFoRT’s objectives mesh with those of Feric, such as developing performance measurement tools geared to forest contractors and their business partners, studying, developing and validating training methods adapted to the forest entrepreneurship context, and disseminating research results to the forest industry and its partners. A press release announcing this association states “this new partnership will make it possible to better coordinate research efforts in view of improving the performance of forest contractors and their businesses.”
