Forestry group accused of flooding N.S. pulpwood market

Jul. 12, 2017 – Private woodlot owners in Nova Scotia say they’re concerned a forestry consortium is putting them out of business by flooding the pulpwood market.
CBC News reports that the general manager of WestFor – a group of 13 companies licensed by the province to operate on western Crown land – says the struggles of private woodlot owners are explained by a contraction of the market, not WestFor.
