Fraser Papers is selling roughly 10,500 tons of specialty printing, packaging and groundwood papers to Brookfield Paper LLC. Fraser will pull in $11.7 million from the sale, money it plans to use to repay outstanding working capital.

The company has additionally agreed to supply Brookfield with paper at market prices until July 31 of this year. This translates to a “customary merchant’s discount” of 3.5% to end user selling prices. Fraser will also provide Brookfield with sales and administrative support.
