WAUTAUGA, TX — BW Technologies has developed a 4-20-mA gas monitor, the GasPoint, which can be connected to any control system — DCS, PLC and others. The gas monitor provides continuous monitoring of such gases as hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide and combustible gases. It works by using advanced sensor and micro-controller technology. It contains features such as field interchangeable sensors that the transmitter automatically recognizes, full function automatic sensor integrity test, and non-intrusive calibration with auto zero and auto span.
