Georgia-Pacific has wrapped up the sale of its stake in G-P Flakeboard. The Canadian-based Flakeboard Co. now owns GP’s share, though the figure for which it was purchased has not been released.

The joint venture’s activities were carried out at two separate locations, a particleboard plant in Bancroft, ON and a medium density fibreboard plant in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. The Sault Ste. Marie facility, which provides employment for 105 people, has been idle since May 2003.
