MONTREAL, QC — Kruger Inc. announced the completion of a $10.9-million project for the purchase of two new converting machines and the modernization of an existing converting machine at the Scott Paper Ltd. mill in Hull, QC. The mill’s 22 machines convert 70 000 tonnes/year into bathroom tissue, paper napkins and facial tissue. The project has created 18 jobs and increased production by 10%, or 600 000 cases, to six million cases. The Quebec government contributed $650 000 to the project.
