International Paper is set to modernize the No. 1 paper machine at its mill in Eastover, SC. Upgrades designed to amplify product quality and improve performance will constitute the project.

The mill has two paper machines that both produce white paper used primarily in the fabrication of envelopes, office paper and forms. The facility also has a pulp machine that produces market pulp. IP anticipates infusing roughly $125 million in the undertaking and expects it will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2005.
