For a sum of $415 million, International Paper sold its Brazilian coated paper business to Stora Enso Oyj. The deal positions Stora as the sole producer of coated mechanical paper in Latin America.

Included in the transaction is a coated paper mill and lumber mill in Arapoti, Brazil, as well as 50,000 hectares of forestland in Parana.
