March 31st will see 40 people thrown out of work when Weyerhaeuser shuts down the round-wood processing plant at its Dryden paper mill, the Chronicle Journal has reported.

The company has cited rising costs, a strong Canadian dollar, declining demand for fine papers and industry oversupply as reasons for the closure.
