Kimberly-Clark de Mexico SA is planning to either sell or spin off its industrial products division. The company will divest itself of a unit responsible for the fabrication of wood pulp, paper for printing, cigarettes and notebooks. The sector accounts for 20% of sales and 13% of net income. The company expects the move will hike Kimberly-Clark de Mexico’s profit margin to 27% of sales, from its current 24%.
