Kemira appoints new head for pulp and paper segment

Kemira announced the appointment of Antti Salminen as the president of its pulp and paper segment. The new head for the segment has taken charge of his responsibilities as of August 15.

“I’m excited about this new challenge. It is great to take the pulp and paper growth story forward together with the expert team,” said Antti Salminen.

Salminen has held several leadership positions within the company. Most recently, he was president of the industry and water segment. Salminen has been a member of Kemira’s management board since 2011.

“I’m very happy that Antti takes the lead in our largest business segment. He has a long and diverse experience in business development and leadership and he’s done a good job executing the I&W segment strategy. He’s well equipped to take over this new role and further develop the pulp and paper segment’s growth strategy,” said Jari Rosendal, president and CEO of Kemira.
