Kruger Packaging’s plant in Rexdale, ON, upgraded its McKinley Premier one-color rotary die cutter and added four colors and three JB Dryers.
The company is now focussing on high graphics, according to John Blair, project engineer. The company’s requirements, Blair says, is to have a full five-color capabilities without hindering the throughput they were used to from the die cutter. This requirement was met, and they were able to run the dryer at speeds well beyond expectations.
