The transaction puts a substantial $68.7 million in the liquor agency’s pockets, as well as the Quebec Federation of Labour’s pension fund, the previous owners of the enterprise. Under the terms of this deal, they will retain a total of 25% interest in the business.

“We’re very happy to be able to participate with them in a new state of development,” Donald Cayouette, a Kruger vice-president said of the purchase, and the Maison des Futailles’ growing business.
