Montreal, QC–Kruger is going ahead with production curtailments at two of its paper mills. Starting July 22, production of one newsprint paper machine at the Corner Brook mill in Newfoundland will halt for two weeks, and the super calendered paper machine at the Wayagamack mill in Trois-Rivires, QC will be temporarily idled.

Roughly 25 employees will be affected by the closure in Newfoundland.
