Kruger is scaling back production at its Quebec paper mills.
From June 20 to July 1, coated paper production will be put on hold at the companys Trois-Rivires facility, and June 9 marked a stoppage of supercalendered paper production at the Wayagamack mill, which is expected to last until June 25.
The St. Jean-Baptiste long weekend will additionally see the temporary shut down of the Trois-Rivires, Wayagamack and Brompton facilities.
