Kruger Products announces price increase in Canada

Kruger Products has announced it will increase the price of its consumer branded and private label tissue products sold in Canada effective Jul. 5.

“The increase will be in the high single digits and is required to offset rapid and sustained cost increases of pulp and other commodities,” the company says in a statement.

The company recently opened a $575-million tissue manufacturing plant in Brompton, Que.
