Kruger Products donates $200K to health-care workers, partners with NHL on ‘kindness’ acts

May 12, 2020  By P&PC Staff

Kruger Products has made a $200,000 donation to support front-line health-care workers fighting COVID-19 as part of its #RollingItForward initiative.

The donation was made to The Frontline Fund, a network of more than 160 hospital foundations across Canada created to deliver resources to front-line health-care workers.

“Their donation will be put to essential use, including PPE such as masks, ventilators and disinfectants; mental health support and counselling; and research including clinical trials and vaccine development,” says Caroline Riseboro, president and CEO of Trillium Health Partners Foundation and national spokesperson for The Frontline Fund.

Also announced today, Kruger Products is partnering with the NHL to encourage Canadians to perform “Acts of Neighbourly Kindness” as part of the #RollingItForward initiative.

Seven NHL players from Canadian teams are taking to social media to encourage people to do what they can to help during this difficult time – whether by making donations to Food Banks Canada or The Frontline Fund, buying gift cards to local businesses or assisting neighbours in need.
